Six Miles is a Long Way to Walk for Pizza

Over fall break we explored the Bee Branch Trail in Beavers Bend State Park. I really loved it, but I have to say that the only way I made it through was knowing there was pizza and beer at the end of the trail. Sad, I know.

Here’s a few pictures from our hike.

Nathan was out in front of course.

Even I had a hard time getting lost.

We saw lots of muscadines on the trail. I dreamed of jelly and wine the entire time.

Getting my feet wet at an easy water crossing.

I would say this was a successful day because of the following:

  1. I didn’t fall in the water.
  2. I only cried twice.
  3. Didn’t see a single snake.
  4. No bears.
  5. The pizza was delicious.

Happy trails to all.
